Terms and Conditions

All arrangements made between Panama Pete Adventures, hereinafter called the company, and you the client are subject to the following conditions. The person submitting the booking warrants that he/she has the authority of all other persons included in the departure to make the booking on their behalf. Because of the nature of adventure travel, we are unfortunately unable to confirm your booking immediately on-line. On some tours where it is necessary for us to check availability of services with our local contacts, or with other suppliers such as airlines, we may need to contact you to offer alternative services.

A deposit of 35% of the total package price for every person traveling must be paid when the booking is submitted to the company, unless the booking is made less than (60) days prior to departure, in which case we require full payment. Once your booking is received, we will make the necessary arrangements to book you on the tour.

Changes to Reservation
If you wish to make any changes to your reservation after confirmation, we will do our utmost to satisfy your requirements. For changes that result in a reduction of services and/or for changes within 30 days, a charge of $25 per booking will be applied. If your change results in cancellation of any services and the company incurs charges, these charges will be applied.

Balance Due
Payment is due in full 60 days prior to trip departure and may be paid by credit card or wire transfer. Please make all payment in US funds. If payments are not received by the due date, we may cancel your reservation.

Special Holiday Periods
The following Holiday periods carry a strict reservation policy.

Christmas & New Year (December 22- January 2) - Full payment being received prior to October 31st.

Carnival - Full payment being received prior to December 31st.

Easter - Full payment being received prior to January 31st.

There will be no reimbursements for any cancellations, no-shows, or unused portion of services; credit for any unused portion will not apply.

Room Occupancy, Single Supplements, and Shared Room Assignments
All trip prices are based on double occupancy. Single rooms are available for an additional charge, referred to as a "single supplement" in our materials.

Trip Cancellation Insurance
We highly recommend a TRAVEL GUARD Protection Plan to cover unforeseen circumstances. TRAVEL GUARD accepts preexisting conditions when you purchase the plan within 10 days of the initial trip deposit. Cancellation charges as a percentage of the entire departure cost:

Cancellation of a trip by The Company
While the Company will make every attempt to operate a trip once confirmed, we do reserve the right to cancel a trip, at any time due to insufficient bookings and/or reasons beyond our control that might create unsafe or undesirable travel conditions for the participant. In such case, a full and immediate refund will be issued. However, the financial liability of the Company shall be limited to the amount paid to the Company for the land tour only and shall not be extended to cover any other associated travel costs incurred (e.g. nonrefundable air tickets, visa fees if applicable, clothing, equipment, miscellaneous transportation costs, medical expenses, travel insurance premiums, etc.). We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of any participant for any reason at any time. We are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by such participants.

Trip Cancellations or Changes
Occasionally, a trip cancellation may occur. If we are unable to provide you with another trip that is satisfactory, you will receive a full refund. We are not responsible for additional expenses such as nonrefundable "Advance Purchase" airline tickets. Due to road, weather, or other conditions deemed to be unfavorable traveling conditions by the Company, trip itineraries are subject to change without notice We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of or retain any participant for any reason at any time. We are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by such participants.

Unused Services and Changes
No partial refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, activities, events, tours, or trip arrangements for any reason whatsoever. Land Cost is quoted as a package and credits are not given for services not used.

We pick up guest from all major hotels including those outside Panama City.  Please make sure to let your travel consultant know what hotel your staying before booking your trip.
